Cognitec's core technology FaceVACS Engine was upgraded to version 10.0 to feature the latest matching algorithm B16, a new face finder, and the next version of our highly accurate age estimation technology. The new matcher surpasses the accuracy of its predecessor, mainly for facial images with extreme pose angles up to profile view.

In addition, the new portrait assessment processor combines template creation and portrait characteristics computation in a single processing step, thus optimizing tasks for the creation of large-scale primary facial data.

The REST API in the docker container (Engine Server) received a thorough revision and optimization.

Clients worldwide continue to use the FaceVACS Engine to integrate Cognitec's reliable face recognition technologies in ID management, border control and logical access control applications.
